In udder noos, we haf herd da term "move" in sentences arownd dis house. We dunt know wat dat meens, but we guess we will find owt one day. Maw has bin disappearing efurry weekend and comes home late. She sez she hired painters cuz da noo howse was painted orinch on de inside. An da carpet was dark green shag. Deze prublems hast bin resolved. Noo carpet. Noo paint. An she is kleenin an kleenin stuff. She sez da noo howse is 3 times da size of dis one. An she had the patio screened-in fur owr entertainment. Dis sownds nice. Except we dunt know about dat "move" fing. And it takes an howr to git der. We dunt like goin to da V-E-T cuz dat is 5 minutes arownd da corner. An dis noo howse allows us all to lif in it efen wid da Homeowner's Association! So we won't git into no trubble. Dis ist good noos.

G.T. and His Allergies

G.T. went to see the dermatologist this week. He has been licking spots raw on his front feet, and licking underneath his back feet. Before he started on his allergy shots, he used to get ulcerated spots on his cheeks where he would scratch them until they were bloody. For the past few months, he has been messing with his feet. Maw was hoping this was a temporary thing, but finally took him in to be checked out.

The v-e-t said that this fall and winter are very bad for allergy sufferers because the normal dying time of some weeds and grasses has not occurred because of the weather in North Texas, and that the mountain cedar dust came along as normal and compounded the allergens already in the air. So many animals and people have been experiencing profound allergy problems.

Duh. No wonder Maw's nose is running.

Anyway, so G.T. is now getting shots twice a month to see if he improves. Also, he received a steroid shot to stop his feet from bothering him so that they will heal quickly and hopefully, all will be normal. Then next winter, perhaps we can go back to monthly shots.

Bless his little heart.
