Gatsbi Needs Insulin Now

Gatsbi didn't lose additional weight while on the Glipizide, but her levels didn't decrease enough so that she could remain on an oral medication. So now she is on Lantus. Hopefully we can just inject her once daily. The V-E-T says that most of his patients do very well this way.

Easy Like Sunday

We are having a relaxing Sunday. It has been a busy month around here. We have had 2 bean parties here, and another one this Tuesday evening. We are exhausted. Thank goodness Maw does all of the work.






Notice all of the blankets and towels that cover all of our furniture. This is normal around our house. Then it disappears when beans come over. Ain't that weird???
