Some of the hissing has diminished. Dorf and Smokey slept on the same bed last night. Don't know if Dorf knew that Smokey was on the bed. With all the problems that Dorf had when he had his teeth removed, and the many many many times that he went to see the V-E-Ts with all the problems, he probably is not at all impressed with the way that Smokey smells. Plus, Dorf can't see very well anymore and may not recognize who Smokey is either.

I prefer to think that Dorf is just being a wonderful gentleman toward Smokey...

I think that perhaps Dorf is being nice--after all it is hard to be angry all the time. As time goes on Smokey's smell may be coming backto normal so Dorf may be realizing that this is a friend.
ReplyDeleteGlad the hissing is getting better. Smokey sending purrs to you!
ReplyDeletepawsome!!!!
ReplyDeleteDorf was being a nice brother!
ReplyDeleteThat is good that the hissing is calming down. I do think that the "accidental" sleeptime that happened at our house helped too - like when they woke up they were like "oh, wait, I know you" after a couple times.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad the hissing is stopping...Wally hisses and swats at me whenever I come home from the vet. It's so bad that now when I go to the vet, Wally hasta go too...

We are glad the hissing is stopping. Flynn is always horrible to me if I have to go to the vet.

Great, it sounds like things are settling down! I bet Smokey is relieved.
ReplyDeleteKeeping my paws crossed that everything goes well with Smokey. I had a mast cell tumor removed from my face in April and thankfully, it was benign.
