With all the cat beds here at Forty Paws, the cat trees, the bean furniture and bean beds, Sally has decided that newspaper lining the inside of the trackball is the best bed there is.
Pee Ess. Obi's surgery was a couple of years ago. His tail has grown back nice and floofy; although it took a very long time. He still gets bladder infections from time to time when he gets unduly stressed. Then he has to take steroids to reduce the inflammation of the bladder. The V-E-T says he is a "sensitive" cat. He also has dribble issues when he finishes using the litter box. His "faucet" has a little bit of a leak for 2 drips. Then it's done.
This surgery was expensive and poor ol' Obi had to live in an e-collar for 3 weeks so he wouldn't lick the surgery site.

Sgt. Sally, you are very silly! Maybe you just like to read in bed.
Sgt. Sally's funny lying on that newspaper! But cute!
Give Obi a cuddle from me. Even if he is a guy.
That looks like a very good bed! Sgt. Sally can sleep or play whenever she wants.
Poor Obi. I don't think that I am sensitive, but it doesn't sound very good.

good for you, sgt sally, for doing your own thing! you look so very comfortable.
i'm glad that obi's 'issues' are mostly solved. i understand sensitive...and it can be hard to avoid undo stress. keep trying!

Dona Nobis Pacem translated from Latin to English is "Grant us peace." Mimi Lenox of Mimi Writes has a lot of information on her blog/s about this phenomenon, in which bloggers on a certain day post their peace globes (decorated or not). The Cat Blogosphere has been involved in this from the first - it's a beautiful thing (it always makes my mom cry in a good way).
Oh such a furry nice bed. It looks comfy.
I'm sorry. BigIg is the cat who led me to Momma and he has a blog at mybigfatorangecat.com
Good for you Sally, spontaneous beds are always the best!
By the way, did you ever get 10 heated cat cups?
Tara
I agree with you Sally. There is nothing quite like a nice crinkly paper to lay on. -Shaggy
Hah, we sleep on da Sunday paper dat dad leeves on da floor. Mom also uses pages frum da news to put out *shhh* NIP! Papers is good fur lotsa stuff.
Sally is "fashion forward" her fur matches the newspaper!
Sgt. Sally, you are silly! Is the newspaper comfortable? I guess it must be, since you are lying on it. I don't think I'd like the smell very much though!
Now that you mention it, Kitty sure does have a few dribble-drops when he comes out of the litter box. Mammacat attributed it to his long hair... ya' know..
Even after the surgery, he has had a few bladder/urinary track infections (he pee's on the furniture to tell us) we hate to think what could have happened IF he never had the surgery though!

Sgt Sally, you look so meow-verlous on the newspaper, like I could just wrap you up and take you home!
