Tabby Tuesday

Here is Dorfie, looking just about as miserable as he can. I had taken his e-collar off to feed him, then he crashed on the hammock when I put it up on the bed.

I've moved his appointment from Thursday to tomorrow, so that he can get rid of his feeding tube, sweater, and the huge bandage around his neck. He will still have to be in his e-collar, and also must eat soft foods for another week. But he is doing so much better. His lips aren't swollen anymore and don't flop into his mouth as bad as they did initially.

Thanks to everyone for all your kind thoughts and prayers and purrs and hedbutts, and licks from the woofies too!

Luf, Us

BTW-this is top secret! Dorf & G.T. turn 7 on Friday!!! They are real honest-to-goodness brothers.

aw, i'm so glad to hear that you get out of that get up sooner. it sounds like you are an uber tough man cat to be able to go through all this and eat on your own and still duke it out to get out of your "trussing"

We're so glad we can leave a comment today to tell you how glad we are you're doing better. Maybe you can get extra special yogurt smoothie stuff!

Take care all. We've been thinking of you.

PS bummer about your enclosure. don't worry, your paw will build it better than ever for you!

Hang in there, Dorfie. Progress is being made.

With luck, by the time you read this you won't feel quite so much like a turkey trussed up for the oven.

Head butts from all of us to all of you.
