Flower Friday
So, remember how we told you that Maw was ripping out the old beds and planting new junk? Well, here is a picture of some of the new stuff. And the new moss boulders that she went to the rock buying place and bought rocks and hauled home a 1/4 ton at a time. See how all the ground is bare in front of the moss boulders? Well, now that the BIG truck came and left 2 pallets of grass, it's not bare anymore. Grass magically appeared in front of those boulders when Maw went out and tilled up the ground and smoothed it out with a rake, and brought these squares of grass from the pallets that the BIG truck left. Now it's a nice checkerboard in our front yard. We could play chess if we were allowed outside and if we knew what chess was and if we wanted to play it.

Ahh, those are some very pretty flowers. I like the moss boulders, too. It sure looks like it was lots and lots of hard work!
That is a very nice flower bed! It looks like it took a lot of work to make it look so good. I like the little buns with the solar-powered-welcome-light!

those buns are ACE! what a beautiful little garden! we don't have a garen cos we live in a flat - but even if meowmie had a garden she could not do any gardening cos she has a phobia of worms!

Our mom has rocks (dad sed most came frum her hed) Wood yoor mom like to pile up moms rocks fur her? She keeps saying dat it is too hot to do yard work, we can't beleeve yoor mom did all dat work! She must not be as lazy as our mom...
