Wordy Wednesday

Auntie Spooker at Purrchance to Dream wanted to buy a raffle ticket to try and win the Ham-mick to benefit The Meezers and ginger snap Bill, but she didn't have enough allowance. So Maw asked Not the Mama if we could swap some stuff from The Wren's Nest catalog for a Ham-mick for Spooker. The Wren's Nest is a darling little shop in Dowagiac, Michigan. Maw would love to go shopping there, but Maw never leaves us for longer than a few hours....

So Not the Mama (NTM), or Mo, lives above The Wren's Nest in a wonderfully cute apartment with Spooker, Daphne and Chloe. The shop cats who live in The Wren's Nest shop are Jazper and Isis. Little kitties in need of rescue tend to find NTM and he takes them in and usually has to pump them full of aunty-by-otiks to get them healthy, then he gets them fixed and vaccinated and finds them wonderful furr-ever homes. Jazper puts up with these interlopers with varying degrees of animosity most times.

So here is the cool loot that we swapped for the Ham-mick:

NTM threw in the "Believe" sign. Wasn't that so sweet? And there is another kyoooot tapestry in the catalog that says, "If You Want the Best Seat in the House, Hold the Cat". Ain't that the truth?

That's usually because I was sitting in the best seat in the house until someone came along and made me move. :humph:

I like Spooker, she is my featured Panther today at House Panthers.

Aw man! That is a very sweet story, and very nice thing that NTM and your Maw did. Swapping is a great idea.

Yes, Greta sure does need a better name. right now, we're calling her 'biscuit maker' cause she does it all the time.

Great idea to do the swap! We love the tapestry sign and the star - it was very nice of Not The Mama to throw in the believe sign as well. Auntie Spooker is going to be one happy kitty when she gets her special quality tested by Dorf Forty Paws ham-mick.

Glad you love your goodies - Spooker sure loves the hammock, and Chloe can't get enough of that Dorfie-scented tissue paper!
