Mom paid $1.94 the other day but she said she's seen it as cheap as $1.93. Do your gas stations charge a cheaper price if you pay with cash than credit? Ours do...
Our gas stations here in Michigan offer two prices for gas...one if you pay cash, another if you pay using a credit card. The cash price is usually .05-.10 cents cheaper that the credit price. This is something that started recently, when gas prices were reaching $4 or so. I just wondered if this was something unique to our area or if other parts of the country were seeing the same thing.
Mom said it was $1.86 tonight when she filled up, except she had to pay $2.06 because her care requires premium gas. That's what she gets for buying a "midlife sports car."
Wait, was it $1.949 or $1.959? Any way, mom paid $2.059 fur it yesserday which is really cheap fur Wisconsin cuz our price is always higher den anywhere else apparently. Dad sed he saw da "cash only" gas station over by da cemetary was at $1.999 on Tuesday.
Mom has to have premium gas and here in So. Cal. it was $2.549 which is really good. She took almost $20 off of how much it took to fill her tank which is a lot. We are guessing regular is about $.15 cheaper.
The price has come down a bit in the UK, but diesel which our Beans use hasn't come down as much as petrol. It works out at about £5 a gallon which a few months ago would have been $10 a gallon, but with the weakening pound, £5 is now worth $7.50
