Maw trapped Orinch #1 yesterday. Orinch was scared of the trap since he was caught a year and a half ago to get his hoohawectomy done. So, Maw kept leaving his food in the trap and would set it further and further back each day. Then she managed to set the trap yesterday afternoon and Orinch tripped it. He wasn't overly happy about that. Then Maw left him in the old house until she could take him to the vet today. He wasn't thrilled with being nabbed to go to the vet either. But the vet and her techs thought he was a great cat. So, he was shot, and dewormed and defleaed and nails trimmed. Unfortunately, we found out that he has FIV. This isn't great, but we can probably live with it. So, Maw picked him up at the vet, and brought him home. He is in a spare bedroom for now.
