Jenny is getting a bit rickety in her old age. She'll be 18 in March. She isn't grooming a lot and has mats accumulating on her hind quarters and back. She doesn't care much for brushing or being messed with too much. That would be the formerly feral part of her. We just let her be and she enjoys life as it comes. The poor girl can't hear anything at all anymore. If we walk up next to her, she doesn't know it unless she glances in that direction. Then she gets spooked and dashes off, or crouches down. Bless her little heart.

Awwww, Jenny sure looks like she is enjoying herself. She is the same colour and age as my cousin Oscar. I bet they would enjoy laying there together chatting about their lives :)xx

That is a lovely photo of her like that. Georgia was like that in her last few years too. She could usually feel us walking but sometimes a friend would come by and she'd freak out when she'd see someone new next to her. It is hard to watch them as they get creaky and older but hopefully Jenny like our Georgia will continue along happily.
