Smokey has crossed over.

Smokey May 5, 2002 to March 5, 2018

Smokey was here for a lot of years. He was among the first foster failures. He came as a foster and remained as a forever kitty. He was among 4 from the same birth mother. Smokey, Sally, Reno, and Obi. Sally is the only one left from that family. They were all born with Feline Herpes and they have each had various problems over the years. Obi had severe kidney failure and crossed over, Reno had a blood clot loosen and impact his hind legs and he crossed over in the night. Smokey had small-cell lymphoma in his small intestines since August, 2013, and he was treated with chemotherapy since then. He also became diabetic as he was on prednisolone for his intestines and that can cause diabetes in felines. And then he had a gimp in his right hind leg and so he received pain medication for it. So he was on a lot of medications for 5 years, but he kept on going. He eventually began to lose weight slowly, but then he had a glucose crash last fall and he never really recovered from it. So he crossed over to be with all those who came before. He was so loved in this household. We truly miss him.
