1. There is always another poodin to snuggle with. 2. If you break something and the beans don't see you, it's likely that another poodin is gonna get blamed for it. 3. There is always a lot of food. 4. Some other poodin is always yakkin and Maw has to clean it up. 5. There is always a poodin around to chase. 6. There is always a poodin around to wrestle with and to put the bitey on. 7. Even if the V-E-T says that one of the poodins should be on a special diet, it's highly unlikely to happen because there are too many mouths to feed and it's too confusing. 8. There is always leftover stinky goodness in somebody's bowl. 9. It's usually somebody else's turn to have to go to the V-E-T for something, delaying routine checkups and dentals for the rest of us. 10. It's pretty easy to hide for most of the day and not be missed until headcount time. 11. If you start a fight and run away from it while the other poodins finish it, you won't get blamed cause the beans won't know who started it. 12. If you have an out of litter box experience, the beans won't know who did it. 13. There is always at least one poodin on the lookout for squirrels, bunnies, fev-vers, and evil intruders which allows the rest of us to sleep in peace. Luf, Us |

It sounds like lots of fun to be a gang of 10! There is always something to do, or eat or watch. I think you are lucky.
You really made us laff with "out of litter box experience"!!!
Thanks!
That is some great reasons - and I can't imagine what it's like at "headcount time" with forty paws!
My 3 (that would be 12 paws) can drive me to distraction at headcount time, when I come up from the basement (we have to keep a butcher block rolly table propped up against the basement door because Daphne likes to open doors!)
cheers & happy TT!
Not the mama and Daphne & Chloe
It sounds so wonderful! I am too easy to blame in our house. Maybe I could come be #11?
Kaze
We want to come over too. Maw would never notice threee more!
Wow, it sounds like there are lots of good reasons to live with that many other cats! Always having someone to snuggle with, chase, or wrestle sounds good! I'll likely be getting a little brother or sister when my breeder has another litter, so I guess there will be some advantages.
Excellent thursday thirteen post. I never thought of multi-cat households from that perspective but it sounds great to live with lots of other poodins.
Ah hah, if we get more cats we can blame them fur braking and loozing stuff. There are three of us and mom almost always knows who did da nawty stuff. Yes, it's uzooally me, but still...~Speedy
Hahahaha! We love it!
That does sound like it has its benefits, you know. I think perhaps living in such a large community is probably rather fun!
That sounds like lots of fun and lots of good reasons. We told mum we wish theer wuz moor uv us but she sed furrget it.She sez she knows eggsackly what yer Maw means about the hedcount furrom when she had 11 poodins. She yoosed to count them by saying: 3 black,3 white, 2 gingers, 2 torties and 1 Smokey, but they kept running round gitting her confoosed.
Oh I didn't know there could be so many nice things about having other poodins around. Do you want to take Katie and Chloe to your house?? please!? You could be forty-eight-paws!
hehehe
Wow what a crazy house! It sounds like there's lots of kitties around there and you're all having a lot of fun! I like the left-over stinky goodness in other kitties' bowls - YUM! :D
Good points. I get a few of these wif just me an Bonnie, but she's nefur, efur had an out-of-litter-box experience.
Well, I think you poodins are very very lucky to have each other, that is a fact!!
~Princess
An "out of litterbox experience" Ha! I snorted a little kitty kibble out of my nose when I read that!
If Mommakitty had to clean up that much yack, she would probably yack herself...then who'd clean that up? (not Daddykitty!)
After reading your TT, I've decided we definitely need more cats around this place!
You're lucky...Our Mom knows when one of us does number 12, and she knows which one, too!
