Hey, those are one of *my mom's favorite flowers also! They were all over Phoenix, and one was in her yard, but they don't grow outside here in New Mexico. Instead we have to settle for oleanders. She says it's not the same.
We have bouganvilla, too! We have gold, magenta, and deep purple, too. Mom put it by the windows to keep people from tryin' to get in ... Terrific thorns! DMM
I love bougainvilliea's bright colors! We can't grow them up here in the north, but I've never seen one in a hanging basket before -- -nurseries up here should sell them in baskets!

P.S. Silky's tail is about a foot long, as is Ninna's. I weigh almost twice as much as either of them do, and I'm taller, too.
