Fun Times at Forty Paws on Friday

Last night was one of those nights here at Forty Paws where Maw & Paw wonder why they have 10 poodins. Annie has the squirts and hit every litter box in the house, as well as the one bathroom sink without water in it. There were also a few racing stripes on the carpet and throw rugs.

Yesterday, when Maw came home, she said "Yeweeee! Someone has smelly poops!!!" Well, it was Annie. She had drank milk the last 2 mornings, and she is lactose intolerant. We tend to forget that until AFTER she gets sick. She couldn't even drink KMR when she was an abandoned orphan. She had to drink goat's milk. Anyway....

Then, several poodins were yakkin all night. Maw & Paw kept waking up to "ewp ewp ewp yak, ewp ewp ewp yak, ewp ewp ewp yak." Don't know who it was, but from all the piles, it must've been several poodins. There was yak on the dining room tablecloth. There was yak on the rug under the table. There was yak in the kitchen. There was yak in the living room. There was yak on the computer cables.

Maw figures it's because it is so hot out, and we are outside in our enclosure roasting our little brains whenever we get the urge. Plus, she needs to trim the grass in the enclosure because when it gets long and we eat it, then we yak. Sometimes, when this stuff happens, Maw shuts off our enclosure. But then we pace and yowl and that drives Maw NUTS!!!

Just another day here at the Forty Paws....

I made crop circles last night, too!!
hehehe
I even got one on the bedsheets when my Tall Man was sleeping.
I like drinking milk, just like Annie does, but I never get enough to give me the squirts anymore. I LOVE cereal bowl milk!

I found a song that might cheer you up. It is called Yakety Yak. Here is how it goes:

::sings::
Take out the papers and the trash or you don't get no spending cash
If you don't scrub that kitchen floor you ain't gonna rock'n roll no more

(Yakety yak don't talk back)

Just finish cleaning up your room Let's see that dust fly with that broom
Get all that garbage out of sight or you don't go out Friday night

(Yakety yak don't talk back)

A Yak Fest!!!
Our computer died last night when mom was writing to your Maw. We are using Dad's computer for this note.
Mom thanks your for all the good advice and tips and links. Will get back to you when she can get back into her hard drive (if it survived that is!) to retrieve the letter!

You tell your Maw that this stuff just happens sometimes. She discovered several piles of what looked like poop last night (one on the counter top) but they turned out to be yak. Nobody was fessing up.

I hope you all feel better today!

hahahahaha - we're laffin' 'bout Daisy's song. our Lady's singin' it too. you're all some of the most productive kitties we've ever met! all we accomplished last night was one piece of stray poop that fell off somebody's fluffy butt onto the middle of the living room floor. we'll try harder tonight.

I'm laughing at Daisy's song, too. I hope poor Annie is over the squirts by now. That was a whole lot of yakking going on. I hope it was just the combination of heat and grass.

Zippy yaks grass and hair at least twice a day and Speedy, well, he eats to fast den runs like a maniac and barfs. He also has what mom calls skwishy poops. Dey aren't nice tootsie rolls like mine and Zippy's, just a mound of poops. He has a sensitive tummy and dat is da best she can get frum him.~Sadie

Like everyone at Purrchance, we think your Maw and Paw are saints. You're very fortunate kitties. But, then again, they're very fortunate to have you kitties, too.
