Thirteen Things That Maw Has Planted in Our New Gardens 1. Ruellia brittoniana 'Katie' (Mexican Petunia) was supposed to be "Dwarf", but is about 3 ft. tall now. The seeds are sprouting everywhere as the blooms burst open and send them flying. 2. Rudbeckia Goldsturm (Black-eyed Susan) 3. Heuchera micrantha, Palace Purple (Coral Bells) 4. Setcreasea pallida (Purple Heart) or Purpurea 5. Physostegia virginiana 'Miss Manners' (Obedient Plant) 6. Juniperus procumbens 'Green Mound' (Green Mound Juniper) 7. Thelypteris kunthii (Southern Wood Fern) 8. Gaura lindheimerii (Cherry Brandy Gaura) 9. Gaura lindheimeri (Karalee Petite Pink Gaura) 10. Baptisia Australis (False Blue Indigo) 11. Silver Showers White Lily Turf 12. Lyre Leaf Sage 13. Purple Coneflower Well, Maw planted more than 13 things but we ran out of numbers. She has now adopted the fil-aw-so-fy dat if it gitz buggy, or moldy, or spotty, or struggles to thrive, she's gonna yank it owt. We kaint wate fur nex spring to see how efurry ting duz!!! Luf, Us |

Wow, lots and lots of plants! I hope they all grow well. :) Both of my humans have "black thumbs" so we don't have anything planted in our tiny Garten and no plants in the house, since anything they've ever tried to grow has died.
Dat wuz a lot of hard werk furr yur Maw. I bet she is gonna half a purrty garden next year...we can't wait to see how well her garden grows.

Mom hadded a beyootiful garden, then dad decided that it needed some "changes" now she has a beyootiful patch of grass wif a rose bush, some daylilies, a bleeding heart plant and one Regal lily. We think he kilt her two lips too. He also put a furry ugly bush were her other rose was...men!
We used to have Coral Bells when we lived in Virginia! Here we have just tropical plants.
Your garden sounds very beautiful.
I am completely lost ! I don't know all these names !
Wow, that sounds like a lot of cool stuff but I don't know what it all means.
Chase
are any of those tasty? what 'bout the nip and kitty grass? lessee sum picshures!
Wow, your Mum must have a green thumb! My Mum has a black thumb. Everything she plants dies. The only plant we have at my house is my cat grass and I look after that, so Mum hasn't killed it yet.
they sound lovely - but i have no idea what most of them are cos we dont have a garden
meowmie says she will get a window box

She has been hard at work. I suppose this means you all have had to snoopervise. I hope you got treats for all that work1
Greta T13! Our Mom likes the Mexican Petunias, 'cause even she can't kill it!! (hehehe) Our dwarfs are almost waist high and dad chops them back at least once a month and they keep growing and growing. We bet your yard is gorgeous when it blooms! We are so far behind. Hope Dorf has recovered and sorry we missed his and GT Birthday. We hope they had a great party.
Your FL furiends,
Hahah, I like #5. The Obedient plant.Obiviously its not a cat.Thats how Mom gardens. If it grows without effort,it stays;it not it gets the heave ho.
Good thing I am no effort.HeeHee
gosh y'all know some danged big words there!!! it sounds purrfectly lovely.
smiles, auntie bee
Your maw sure has been busy. Momma would like to have lots of cool plants at our house, but she doesn't have a green thumb at all.
So many plants. Hope your lawn blossoms into a place of serenity and beauty :)
What a great garden you will have, such a nice array of colors and shapes!
Even though Mom has a PhD in plant ecology, she isn't much of a gardener. Her fil-aw-so-fy is survival of the fittest. If it makes it, great, if not, it wasn't meant to be...

Sounds like your maw has been very busy in the garden. It must be beautiful!
Take a picture when it blooms~! I believe it will be very beautiful~!
Wow, she's been really busy!
All of those plant names sound really pretty! I hope everything flourishes. Now let Maw get some rest!
Wow, that's a lotta flowers!
