So today Paw sez to Maw, "The birds are eating the cat food." Maw sez, "Yeah, the feeder must be empty." So she puts on her mud shoes (it rained 1.5 inches here yesterday), and took bird seed out to the feeder to fill it. Well, guess what was in the bird feeder but a little rat!!! At first, she thought it was a baby possum, but upon closer examination, she saw that it was a rat. So she popped the top and the rat leaped out and took off running! So then she dumped the wet seed and refilled it for the birds. And the birds quit eating Orinch 1, Orinch 2 and Bob(bie's) cat food and started eating there own food again.

Wow, that is freaky! Rats eating bird food and birds eating cat food!
My mom would have screamed so loud the whole neighborhood would have heard it! What a surprise!
I'm glad the birdies have their regular food again.
Oh my goodness! We've never had that happen here. The closest thing to a rat that gets on our feeders is all the d#mn squirrels.
Oh my. I wonder what Orinch 1 and Orinch 2 and Bobbie think of that little rat?!
I smell a rat. Hahahahahaha! That would make my Mommie scream. Loudly!
We feed the birds too and our feeder's seed had turned to mush after all the rain yesterday! We have not seen rats at our feeder, but we live across from a pond and we know there are possums and armadillos that probably come out at night!

Oh yuk! Sumtimes a rat would go in the tree where our bird feeders are and eat all the seeds and peanuts.Dad got fed up wiv it wrecking the feeders so he got his gun and shot it.Mum hates rats. She sez it's their tails, they give her the creeps.
Ewwwuuue. Yeck. A rat in the biride food? The squirrels get into the food feeders here. The raccoons and oppossums eat from the stuff the birdes spill. But never a rat! Mum would have been running and screaming away!
RAT?! EEEEEEEEK!
Our oldest bean gerl hadded a ratty as a pet, his name was Rex and he was a nice rat. Dat sed, if mom sawed one in da bird feeder she woulda had a fit!
Hahahah - too bad you didn't get the chance to change that bird feeder......
Oah Dear....is that possible???
I wonder if the rat ran fast enough to escape Orinch 1, Orinch 2 and Bob(bie), especially if they found out that it was the reason the birds were eating their food.
Oh dear, that would have freaked our mom out for sure.
