Thursday Thirteen #36

Thirteen Places Where We Have Left
OLBEs (Out of Litter Box Experiences) This Week

1. On Maw's brand new throw rug in the foyer.

2. In the bathtub.

3. Under Paw's desk.

4. Under the table in Paw's office.

5. On the garage floor.

6. On the bathroom floor next to the little broom that Maw uses to sweep up litter.

7. Over the edge of the litterbox in the laundry room.

8. Over the edge of the litterbox in the bathroom.

9. Over the edge of the litterbox in the garage.

10. Under the table in Paw's office, again.

11. In the bathtub, again.

12. Over the edge of the litterbox in the bathroom, again.

13. Actually, that was only 12, but Maw says it sure seems like more.

I know that from you Maw's perspective it must have seemed like many more!

Ooops! That doesn't sound very good. Neither of us has ever had an out of litterbox experience, although we have left bum marks on different surfaces after we've used the litterbox. *blush*

Georgia has a lot of OLBEs too lately. I think it's cause she is old...

Whoa, that's a lot! You know, if you all tried to turn some of those OLBE's into ILBE's (IN litter box experiences), I bet your Maw would have more scritching time for you! Just a thought.

That's a lot - our kitties have been having some OLBEs as well - Fairy in particular cuz since she doesn't quite associate the litter box yet - she has OLBEs right by the side of litter box.

Pixie sometimes goes potty on the tiles right next to the litterbox. But I think it is because she is on Lasix now and she drinks and goes potty a lot. If my Mommie sets her into the litterbox at least every 4 hours or so, then there are no accidents!

Your people have to be alert all the time to make sure they don't step on any of those land mines! Between the yak & the OLBE's they really gotta step lively!

Sometimes I run out too quick or I get tired of waiting in the box if it's a little stuck in there and I drop it on the bathroom carpet on my way out of the bathroom, but those are usually small and round. The humans don't like that much for some reason... maybe because the male servants stepped in it once?

Accidents do happen on occasion. We always blame it on the dogs!

Speedy hasn't been "thinking outside da box" fur a couple weeks but he still has a prollem wif hanging his big ole booty over da side of da box and going on da floor. Mom's starting to think maybe he needs a kiddie wading pool to go in. Sheesh, he already has da biggest litter box mom could find.

Your poor Maw, you must be rushing her off her feet. We only have OLBE's when we haf been eating long grass, then we get dingleberries hanging out like a string of sausages, and then we haf to run like mad to make them fall off. If that duzn't work, Eric rubs his butt on the floor. Sometimes when we're covering up, we are too ennerjetik and the poops go flying out of the litterbox.

Wow! That's a lot of OLBEs. Sounds like you need taller litter boxes or shorter cats.
