Our Windows are Open!!!!!

Yes indeed. After almost 4 months of having the a/c on, with NO OPEN WINDOWS, today Maw OPENED THE WINDOWS!!!! This is a miraculous occurrence and we were SO HAPPY!!!! The windows will remain open for several days, because it is going to be in the 50s overnight, and in the 80s during the day!!! We are SO EXCITED!!!! Today the high was 85F! It has not been this cool since May 16th. We are very excited! Open windows, hay fever, dust blowing. What a life!

And, the JoAnn store opened on Friday, and Maw went. Maw wasn't as excited as she expected to be. It is not as big as she thought it would be. And the fleece selection was not that great. Although she did get one fleece and here is a picture of it! She is hoping that they get additional fleeces in the future. Just sayin'...

yay for open windows!

mom's got an icky stinky juniper outside her window...and it makes her think of stinky icky cat boxes. those icky stinky boxes get into her dreams, so she sleeps with the window closed and a fan on.

one day, she will ask uncle jerry to cut down the icky stinky juniper.

i'm very glad you get your windows open!

Cat fleece, we love it! Julie's going to go to the Joanne's here to see if there's anything like yours.

Windows open! That's such good news for you guys! I guess we're lucky up here in the north country because we always have windows open with no a/c and all. Of course, we suffer thru cold and snow and ice in winter..I don't even want to think about it!

Hugs,

Window whiffing is the best! That cute fleece would make a mighty fine kitty blankie.

This is glorious! Hey, the hubs built a cat house for Shadow and Whammy! How awesome is that, you ask? It's 12'x4'x6'. That's awesome, huh? I'll have to put some pix up on the blog for ya. Whammy likes it, but Shadow, having been an outdoor cat, doesn't want any part of it. (He had a hard time out in the wild.) We're working with him, though.

Oh my gosh! FOUR MONTHS of having closed windows is excruciating. But yeah, I can see why you're happy when they have finally opened. Nothing beats hanging around the window to enjoy the view.
