Thank You to Everyone...

We want to send out our sincere thank you to everyone who has sent us cards, and commented on our blog, and on Facebook about the passing of Jenny and Obi. We will get around to personally thanking each of you over time. It is very hard on Maw and us right now.

We miss Jenny's meowing, and her loud purrs. She could really purr! And it became louder when she could no longer hear herself over the last couple of years. And then at the end, she was always coming right up to Maw and Paw's plates to eat whatever they had because she had serious hyperthyroidism and was literally starving all the time. She would steal pieces of meat off their plates.

Maw sure does miss Obi. Obi was always so happy when she would come home, and would run to the door to meet her. And he would always go upstairs at night with her, and climb into bed with her. And every time she sat down on the chair, he would jump on her lap. Now, there is no Obi to meet her at the door, and no Obi to climb into bed with her, and no Obi to jump on her lap. She misses Obi a ton.

Many hugs and luf, Us

Sending (((hugs))) and universal Light and purrs.

It's unbearably difficult and unfortunately the only way past grief is through it, there aren't any shortcuts.

Peace.

We know it is sad when your siblings go to Rainbow Bridge but it is much better for them if they are frail or very sick and in pain. Your Maw and Paw will always love them and think of them but they need for you to give them extra cuddles to ease their sadness.

Purrs to you. It is not easy to lose a cat or even two. The Woman lost two of her cats within 10 days of each other. Even though Georgia was still there, the house felt very empty without them and she still misses them sometimes.

(((Hugs))) to you. It is so hard when we have to help our precious babies to the Bridge. It feels like nothing will be the same again which of course it won't be. The pain of losing them hurts so much but the only way to get through it is knowing that giving them that ultimate act of love has saved them from a painful existence.
Flynn sends his purrs to you.

We always miss them when they're gone. Each one takes a piece of our heart. But how wonderful we had opportunity to know and love them. :)
